  • Brunei Darussalam (BD) and Malaysia established diplomatic on 5 May 1984. 2019 will mark the 35th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic relations.

  • BD and NZ enjoy cooperation in the areas of education, defence, trade and investment and health. Both sides are actively exploring new ways to enhance cooperation into other mutually beneficial areas such as Ease of Doing Business, Halal industry, agriculture and human resource development.

Mar 2017Goodwill Visit of HMNZS Endeavour. This was led by Commander Martin Doolan, Commanding Officer, HMNZS Endeavour plus 14 officers and 39 enlisted on board the HMNZS Endeavour.
