Ceremonial
- Co-ordinates and handles the preparations for the Presentations of Credentials of Foreign Ambassadors or High Commissioners to Brunei Darussalam
- Prepares the Letter of Credence for Brunei Darussalam Ambassadors/ High Commissioners to our overseas missions
- Co-ordinate audiences and courtesy calls for VVIP and Head of Missions
- Co-ordinates National Day reception for Foreign Embassies and High Commissions based in Brunei Darussalam
- Handles all official messages from foreign missions and Brunei Darussalam missions
Consular Affairs Section
Provides consular assistance to Brunei Darussalam's nationals and its interest abroad in accordance with the provisions of the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.
| - Brunei's diplomatic missions can assist with:
- Notifying the family of Brunei nationals in the event of his/her arrest or detention
- Notifying the family of Brunei nationals in the event of his/her injury
- Issuing travel documents in the event of their loss (subject to police report )
- Repatriation of the body and personal belongings of Brunei nationals deceased abroad
- Registration of births, marriages and deaths of Brunei nationals abroad
- Visiting Brunei nationals who have been arrested or detained.

Provides and administers Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities accorded to Foreign Diplomatic Missions to Brunei Darussalam and its diplomatic and non-diplomatic individuals, in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961and for other matters connected therewith.
The Consular Affairs Section is responsible for obtaining diplomatic clearance for foreign military/private vessels and aircrafts entering the territory of Brunei Darussalam and Brunei military/private vessels and aircrafts. The Consular Affairs Section authenticates public documents issued, signed or stamped by the authorities that are not parties to the 1961, " Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legislation for Foreign Public Document."
