TRAVELLING TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM

Visitors entering Brunei Darussalam must obtain visas beforehand from the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Amman, Jordan.

Entry Requirements:

The following documents are required for the visa application process:
  1. The visitor should have a valid passport or travel document recognised by the Government of Brunei Darussalam.
  2. Visa application form (can be downloaded from  this link http://www.mfa.gov.bn/Pages/Download-Visa-Form.aspx 
  3. Copy of passport with validity within six (06) months from date of expiry when entering Brunei Darussalam.
  4. Two (2) recent passport size photos of applicant. 
  5. A copy of travel itinerary.
  6. A copy of hotel accommodation booking in Brunei Darussalam.
  7. The Embassy of Brunei Darussalam might require additional documents (upon request from the authority concerned in Brunei Darussalam).
  8. Payment Fee of JD15 [Jordanian Dinar: Fifteen only] for single entry from each applicant. Cash payment should be made to the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Amman, Jordan.
  9. For official and business entry purposes, it is advisable for the organizer and coordinator in Brunei Darussalam to apply visa directly at the Immigration Department in Brunei Darussalam to expedite the visa process.
  10. Visitors are advised to submit their applications via email or can be presented direct to the Embassy at least one (1) month before the date of travelling to Brunei Darussalam. This is to take into account that every application needs to be forwarded to the relevant authority in Brunei Darussalam for further processing and approval. Once visa is approved, applicant is required to come to the Embassy and to bring along original passport to be stamped.
  11. Please note that incomplete documentations received by the Embassy will not be processed and considered.
